| Donald Pope Photography is a Dover, Delaware based wedding photographer that performs creative professional wedding photography services in Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and surrounding areas. . As a wedding, home session portrait, and commercial stock photographer, I know that training is important. My professional training began in Delaware with a 40 course offered by Nikon. The course covered all aspects of photography including understanding aperture, shutter speed, lighting, creativity and depth of field. At the conclusion of the course, an award was given for the most creative work. I was the winner of that award. As my wedding photography business started to grow, I was able to book assignments in Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Washington, DC, Maryland, Virginia and as far away as Alabama. Weddings were and continue to be a mainstay of the business for many years. I know that weddings can be very hectic for the bride, the groom and the family. The last thing that a bride or groom need to worry about is if the wedding photographer is doing his or her job properly. The wedding photographer's job is to capture the wedding in such a way that the bride and groom will forever remember. I proceed with the thought that there will not be a second chance to do the assignment right. I strive to get it right the first time. Wedding Photographers rarely get 2nd chances. As the new era of wedding photojournalism has been ushed in, my clients have found a brand new appreciation for my creative style. To further compliment my creative style, I utilize state of the art editing software by Adobe. Most recently, I began to do photo sessions in our clients homes. My financial investment in wedding and portrait photography includes state of the art lighting systems that allow me to travel and produce a professional sessions off-site. Once at the session, I can be far more creative than the typical Walmart or retail store photographer. I especially enjoy high key work on white backgrounds. I continue to train and educate myself in all the newest trends and technical challenges that digital photography presents. Serving my clients is a true pleasure. |
